Exclusively designed for Hayze Bridal, this one-of-a-kind piece is 4 stunning earrings in 1. Handcrafted in Nicaragua, Central America, by Chureca Chic & GEO Designs, these earrings are custom made to order with recycled silver and repurposed freshwater pearl and gemstones. They also include a signature Chureca Chic paper gemstone handmade using upcycled paper.
Goldsmiths Maria, Hector and artisan Eveling made these pieces. The silver has been extracted from old x-ray machines and cell phones and discarded jewelry. We use no molds, no machines.
A donation to our community project, XtraOrdinary Women, is included in the sale of each pair of earrings. XtraOrdinary Women is a charity empowering women in Nicaragua living in at-risk situations with job skill training courses and job placement services. Providing them with the tools to become financially independent and in turn, break the cycle of extreme poverty and domestic violence they live in.
Maria and Eveling are graduates from this programme, they now have stable jobs with us creating pieces that support other women to achieve financial independence.
